E’SUN Illuminator
The E’Sun Electronic choke is designed with high quality and developed to improve the overall efficiency of the lighting system for sodium vapour and metal halide lamps. This Electronic choke mainly focus on sodium vapour and metal Halide lamps where thay work with very efficiency,In conventional way of working theselamps consumes more than 100% of energy(i.e. VA) and the effective output from the lamp is less than 50%. So %0% of the power consumed by the lamp is wasted.The wastage can be minimized by connecting the proper capacitance to the lamp set, but in practial conditions it is not being properly implemented, For the lamp to glow, an igniter ia also required which will ignite the lamp and without this igniter the lamp cannot glow.
Another important item in the lamp set is Copper / aluminium choke. This plays a vital role in glowing the lamp by sharing the voltage, limiting the current, etc. But unfortunatelythis conventional copper / aluminium choke has got many draw backs like it works with very low power factor i.e. draws very high current from the source, while working it attains high temperature, high self power consumption, use and throw, and mainly, there is no control over the illumination, no protection for short circuit towards the safety of lamp and choke. This conventional choke also develops current harmonics which will affect the quality of power and added with the low PF will increase the demand and high VA burden in the transformer, also with increased line losses.
This high quality E’Sun electronic choke works very effectively and efficiently towards the lighting systems. It also completely eliminates the disadvantages of conventional copper / aluminium choke. The E’Sun electronic choke has extreme control on illumination, protections to the short circuit, improve the power factor more than 0.95, reduces the current harmonics, work with wide range of 160 to 280 volts with almost constant illumination, high intensity of light output, avoids capacitor and igniter, reduces line losses, increased lamp life, minimize the maintenance, eliminates the use and throw concept, increase the of the reflectors in the lamp set.
